As Art One Academy ease into re-opening of our school for Summer camp and Summer Classes the safety and health of our students and instructors remains our top priority. We want each student has safe and positive experience at Art One Academy this summer.

Limit to one parent/guardian to accompany students to the door. We encourage parents leave studio promptly during drop off or pick up.

Yellow Room: max of 9 students
Red Room: max of 8 students. Our seating is rearranged to allow 6’ distance between students
The Blue Room will be a designated space for any students/ staff who show the symptoms and needs to be isolated.
Each room is equipped with its own sink and alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Staff is responsible to ensure students practice hand hygiene and wash hands when coming to the room, before snack and lunch and various times during the day.
We have separate washrooms for students and staff.
Studio will be cleaned every day. We will sanitize tables, chairs, art supplies, door knobs, light switches, sinks, and washrooms.
Each student brings his/her own packaged meal and snack, as well as a labelled water bottle. No sharing food is allowed.
To keep art supplies sanitary, all students will be required to buy their own art kits to bring with them to each day for the regular classes or keep them at the classroom for a camp week and take home afterwards. The supplies kits could be used up to 1 year. The items in the art bin are those that students will be handling themselves. All bins and materials will be individually labelled.
Art One Academy will supply acrylic, watercolor, paper and canvases. No smocks or aprons will be shared. Students should dress in something they don’t mind to get dirty or bring your own apron.

To keep everybody safe we have made more changes to the regular camp rules:
Minimum age is 5 years old.
Camp hours: 9am to 4 pm
No extended hours
Full days/full week students only. No flex days or half days to limit the exposure to students who comes only for one or two days.
NEW REFUND POLICY
You will receive a full refund on Summer/Winter/ march Break camps should we not able to open. If our Camp is open and you would like to cancel, please provide us with a written notice to receive a Credit Note for the future.

Please note your credit card will not be charged until we verify and apply any credits you have with us. A statement will be sent to you for your records.
